Boxhead: The Zombie Wars

The Boxhead series has had a longstanding fan base in the gaming community, the colorful design and numerous weapons makes for a wonderfully intensive game that many people enjoy. Now on to the Review.

The Boxhead series is synonymous with innovation. With every release they bring something new. In The Zombie Wars, Sean Cooper gave us the wonderful invention of Turrets and air strikes which allows us to play defensively, in fact, the whole point of one of the gametypes is to protect your base.

Typically in the Boxhead series, you gain new weapons by scoring kills consecutively. Nothing has changed in The Zombie Wars. The basic weapons like the pistol and shotgun have been revamped to give them new capabilities, and all the new weapons add something interesting to the game.

Walkthrough

Well, the method is pretty much the same for every achievement you could possible get, aside from the fact that in defense mode you have a preconstructed base.

So here is the basic Strategy, the method is at the bottom of the walkthrough section.

When the game starts, depending on difficulty, whip out your best weapon and start killing, try and construct a small base between rounds if you don’t already have one (Build turrets first). Try to keep moving and fall back to the base if you can’t handle the pressure, but once you get the minigun, there shouldn’t be a problem, just keep moving and picking up ammo, eventually you should get any of the achievements that you want, the devil killing achievement is definately going to take a while, but cheating is deinately the way to go if you want to save some time and frustration.

Ok, now for the cheating method.

Combo: When the game starts, search for the exact number of your combo, and wait for it to go down some, then search again, wash rinse repeat. freeze it at 999 to get the maximum combo

Health: Search for 100 when your health is full, get hit and search for a decreased value, wash rinse repeat, freeze it at 100, you will still show damage, but on the next hit it will replenish, just don’t let anything kill you in 1 hit, such as a vampire

Rating Summary:

The Badges: 4/5

the badges are pretty challenging and give the player a good deal of fun while they are at it.

Graphics: 5/5
The artwork done in Boxhead is pretty spectacular, the blood spatters that have gathered after an extended play session look fantastic, along with the scorched earth underneath from countless explosions.

Game play: 5/5

No matter how long you play it, Boxhead never gets boring, each wave brings with it an exciting fight and even more enemies.

Overall Boxhead: The Zombie Wars is a fun experience that leaves the player with a feeling of adrenaline as they kill hordes of demons, zombies and mummies. There could be more challenging badges, but they are enjoyable while they last.
