GemCraft

GemCraft is the newest game brought to you from game in a bottle. It is a very ambitius game and it is one of the best flash games. The concept is rather simple but unique, an evil wizard attacks your land and you have to defend it. But to defend the land you build towers and on those towers you put gems. The gems are the main aspect of the game. You can do whatever you want with them, throw them, combine with gems of different colors, or make a pure one. Once you have your gem you place it on the tower. Another unique thing is that you can move your gems from tower to tower.

The tower AI is excellent and attacks the enemy that you want to attack. The world map is very much like balloon invasion but the game is actually fun. Featuring an easy to use interface it makes the game fairly easy but fun.

The graphics are pretty good but its a tower defence game, what do you expect. The map looks cool and interesting but the battle maps are pretty dull and uninspired. Featuring only some trees, the towers and gems, the enemy spawn point, and your base. Although their aren’t that many objects they are drawn pretty well and show that they spent a long time on it. The only problem with this game is the same with balloon invasion, its too long. It has around 50 levels and each level ranging from 5 to sometimes even around 60 minutes. The battles aren’t as long or boring as balloon invasion’s but the game could have been a bit shorter. Even with that this game deserves a solid

Now for the hack part of this review.

What is so hard about this? If you seriously can’t do this without hacks you need to go to the doctor. Just do like three levels and you will get it.

Well this isn’t hard… it just takes a long time. Simply use the save file posted later on.
